Sizing details

All items in my shop are ready to ship. The piece you purchase is the piece you will receive. Though measurements are approximate, they are very close to the actual size of the piece, within a quarter of an inch in any direction.

Care instructions

All of my pottery is meant for the enjoyment of food and drink.

All of my pots are suitable for daily use. They are microwave and dishwasher safe, though hand washing is recommended.

A note about handmade and wood firing

Each piece in my shop was individually made by hand and fired in my wood burning kiln or my electric kiln. Handmade pots naturally have variations in form and surface. Most of my pots are made on the wheel and some are hand built. Though some pots are made in series and glazed in a similar way, each piece is truly one-of-a-kind.

Firing with wood has many variables that come together differently for each firing. The flame moves naturally around the kiln and deposits wood ash and salt onto the pots, leaving glazes, slips and clay colors with a wide range of tones and textures.
